4 Months Old!

I'm getting to be such a big girl :)

I can't roll yet, but grandma was really trying hard to teach me. I can do it with a little help, but on my own I haven't quite figured out how to whip my feet over yet.

However I have learned the art of nose diving off the couch. Mommy won't make that mistake again :\

I love to sit up and can do a pretty good job at doing it on my own. I know like to scream when I talk...I'm so little I have to be heard!

I love to grab at things now. I can even hold on really well to things too. Grandma bought me a rattle which I like.

We just got back from being north visiting the ole peoples for Thanksgiving. They sure kept me busy :) (mommy will have to pull herself away from the farm game long enough to put up the pictures from that trip later...)

Now mommy keeps talking about some person named Santa. Not sure who he is, but she tells me about him bring me some new toys. I can't wait to see what I'm going to get! I hope it tastes good :) I love putting things in my mouth now so no room in there for yucky stuff. Mommy early today was doing stuff with some pretty paper. I helped a little. I crumbled up the tissue paper for her boxes. She wouldn't let me eat it though :\

We still are only breast of formula feeding. I'm not really all that hungry and so mommy sees no reason to rush the start of cereals and veggies.

I was sick the other night. Mommy felt awful since she couldn't figure out why I was upset. But my tummy just hurt and hurt. Then I did a BIG spit up all over mommy's shoulder and I felt better. So much I almost went to sleep when she was changing me from my dirty pj's.

I think thats the scoop peoples. I still love my baths and I now allow mommy to eat her breakfast and drink her coffee each morning while I play on my mat. I think she's alot less grumpy that way :)

Hehehehehehe...

Mommy discovered my feet are ticklish...

Here's from another photo shoot mommy did of me. I was wearing a pretty pink dress for the first and last time since it was a little too small (the onsie atleast)...so enjoy!

(Your kidding right mom...ruffles on the dress!
Your lucky there aren't any on my butt!)

(What do you mean leave my dress down...I have tights on!)

(Don't keep taking my hand away...I will NOT take it out of my mouth...don't make me pull my dress up again...your choice hand or dress!)

(See I can almost fit my WHOLE fist in there :) )

(Alright Mom...I will pose, but only if you stop with the camera already!)

(alright smile pretty for the camera...)

(Is THIS big enough for you! My cheeks are going to hurt)

(Aww Mom, everyone already knows how cute I am...we didn't need to take these stupid pictures...)

So I'm officially 100 days old. Wow I'm old! On Sunday Mommy took her "100th" picture of me. Ofcourse she has MANY more than that, but she wanted to do one every day, and guess what she did (almost)! Here they all are :) I've sure grown up alot!

Em's Fav YouTube Videos

This is by far her favorite video thus far.

If you come across similar ones on YouTube let me know!! Sometimes all you need is a couple minute video to calm her down some :) I'm starting a list on the right side of the blog...

Meeting Uncle Travis

(FYI -- you can click on the pictures and make them bigger)

I did lots of new things on my trip to see Uncle Travis and Aunt Kristi! I went on my first airplane. Which I slept most of the time, the sound of the engine is just made me SO sleepy!

I also road on my first subway and bus at the airport! Then in my frist van once grandpa and daddy put my car seat in the rental :) At the airport I met Uncle Travis and Aunt Kristi for the first time :)

We didn't get to see them too much at the airport Uncle Travis had something to do back at the base, but they came over over later and hung out. See Uncle Travis and I in camo together?

Mommy took me swimming for the first time ever. The water wasn't too bad until I got out and then I was really cold! I must take after mommy like that. She never finds the water too cold until after she gets out.

We went all kinds of places. We went to Denver to go shopping for a new coat for mommy and grandma. Uncle Travis and Aunt Kristi bought me a bear from Build-A-Bear! They picked out a polar bear and dressed it up to look like an Avalanche player! So cool :) Here's a pick of all of us at the shop :)

While in Denver we went to an aquarium. I slept through some of it, but I when I was awake I loved the fishies!!

I even watched a tiger eat! Man he could have gobbled me in a few bites! He was SO big and I was so close!

We got our picture taken together. We don't have many family pics :)

Daddy tried to feed me to the shark ! Oh see the pretty outfit I'm in. It didn't come back home with me. It didn't survive my colossal poop that night :\ It was such a mess and mommy had to clean me up in a public bathroom with no help. What a time to run out of wipes! It was stressful but we got through it.

Daddy forgot to pack me bottles the day we went to the aquarium and mommy wasn't feeling very well all at, so they bought me a souvenir. Check me out drinking from my new fishie bottle :)

We hung out at Aunt Kristi's (and Uncle Travis's ;) ) house a few times. Daddy was doing something with their Wii. All I know is that Uncle Travis has a VERY big computer monitor. See it behind Grandpa and me?

I also got to pet my first doggie!! Winnie was very cooperative. I wasn't really scared, I think I'm bigger than she is!

Here are the other doggies:

We went to this place called Estes Park. On the way there we stopped at a little shop and tried from different kinds of jerky. Okay I didn't, but mommy and daddy did. They tried different kinds like duck, elk, kangaroo, deer, buffalo, pheasant, and ostrich. Grandma had been looking for a cowgirl outfit for me...this hat had to do. I wasn't that happy of a camper in this picture.

At this store they also had a tower you could climb and take pictures.
See mommy's new purple coat :)

Estes Park was kind of cool. Daddy got to try all sorts of new hot sauces at a sample it hot sauce bar. We also went to a bar, another first for me. I even stripped there...hehehehe

On another day we went to go find a gold mine to look at. Which ended up putting us right in the mountains :) I slept but I was told it was pretty :) We ended up in a little town that was pretty much all casino's Grammy would have loved it! Here I am at my first slot machine :)

Here's a funny story. We went down stairs to their restaurant and ate lunch. When we went to leave they said we had to wait to be escorted out! All because of ME! hehehe

We did find a mine to look at :) Mommy even fed some chipmunks and if she ever gets the pictures from daddy she will show you :)
We also went back to Denver to walk some street. Uncle Travis wanted to carry me around so mommy let him. He did a good job at keeping me happy :)

We went back to their house on a different day too. Aunt Kristi helped mommy dress me.

Uncle Travis put his jersey on for a few pictures too :)

Grandma even captured them on film ;)

We went and visited some good friends of mommy's and daddy's. Hope was very happy to meet me and Chris was very happy to talk geek to daddy ;)

After all these busy days I was always happy when we got back to the hotel. Mommy did have a crib for me but I preferred the big bed.

Here we are all together for one last picture. We left very early the next morning since snow started to fall! We were worried the plane wouldn't take off. Which it did, just we spent an extra 1.5 hours in it so it could be de-iced.

The airport on the way home was pretty cool. Have a looksie :) And it also gives you a hint for a Christmas present for me ;) hehehehe

Look I can ROLL

Okay so it's been 3 months and Mommy STILL hasn't figured out that she can't rotate the camera when filming...I don't have hope that she will get it before I'm a year so you will just have to crank your neck to the side to enjoy :)

So I can roll from my tummy to my back. Uncle Tom was even around to witness it. It my first time ever doing it. Well I guess not my VERY first. I was having a field day rolling off mommy, but I wasn't flat out on my tummy. We'll just call that practice rolling :)

(yes mommy knows she still hasn't put up pictures from the trip. She has been busy cleaning and now rearranging the living room :) I also have been keeping her busy since I just don't like to play by myself anymore, or sleep not cuddled up on someone...she's trying hard to break my habits but I will con't to resist!)

3 Months Old!

I am three months old today! I can no hold my head up like a champ. I can even push myself up off the floor during belly time :) Daddy thinks if I could get some traction I would also be wiggling across the floor, but the darn blanket mommy had me on was slippery!!

I also have all sorts of facial expressions. I love to smile. I also know how to put my lip out to pout, which gets mommy every time ;)

I'm getting bigger and bigger each day but thankfully I am following the size of my clothes almost perfectly. I'm not in 3-6 month clothing. There are some 0-3 that will fit me but for the most part I'm up another step :) Oh I also try to sit up to see better. I love to held in a sitting position looking out so I can see things. If you lay me down at a slant I will try to do a sit-up to sit up and see :) I'm just starting to reach out and grab at things. But I know how to squeeze my little fingers around and pull mommy's hair, especially when I'm mad. My hands often times fascinate me. I can be caught watching them as I open and close them.

Yesterday was my first holiday :) We stayed in but mommy still insisted I had to put my pumpkin costume on for pictures.

Mommy will get to putting up the Wyoming pictures at some point...laundry is now done so she should have more time :)
