First Bite and Byte :)

Here is my first bite of rice cereal, well first few bites :) Daddy gave it to me and Uncle Tom was here too!!!



And here I am after mommy finished feeding me :)

Oh and since mommy is attempting to be funny...here is my first notepad saved with my typing in it ;) So here's my first byte too :) hehehe

(Okay the places where it looks like I was spelling my name, mommy was helping me prectice...but the rest was ALL me :) hehehehe)

Eating like a big girl :)

So Mommy maybe did a bad thing, but it didn't hurt me :) She gave me a sip of chicken broth from her soup last night, I LOVED it!! So much I then "drank" a ounce of forumla by being spoon fed :) I got most of it IN me too, I know how to swallow really well :) Mommy said that if I pooped today she would give me some cereal before bed tonight, and guess what I pooped :) So be looking for pictures of my first attempt cereal :) hehehe.

I've been showing mommy I'm ready for food for a little while. I can control my head really well and need just a little assistance for my balance when sitting up. I swallow my drool when I'm not chewing on things and I showed her last night I can swallow things given to my by a spoon really well :) I also weigh over 15 lbs too :) So we are going to try it! Mommy is hoping I won't wake up at 11 now and will sleep longer without a feeding, but that might take time since I'm sure I won't eat a whole lot my first time.

Mommy got a new crockpot...

so she put me in it...lol :)

She's such a nut, but I love her!

Christmas is Coming!!

So while we were north this past week people asked what I would like for Christmas or rather they asked mommy what I needed. The list is small but here are some ideas for those interested in getting me a gift for my first Christmas :)

I'm growing like a weed, so I need new nipples. I use the Medela wide base ones (the ones for nursing babies). There is a difference. Also I will eventually need bigger bottles so you could snatch some of those too :) I definitely need nipples though. Slow flow are the ones I'm using and will continue to use for awhile.

Mommy loved the peekaboo blocks at work, so she wants to make sure I get a set especially the ABC one :)

These mats are cool since we have nothing but carpet. They will be a different surface to play on and easier to clean up. Plus you can connect them together and make big cubes too :) Oh and they are also of the ABCs

Mommy went through my clothes and discovered I will need more fuzzy warm sleepers. Size 9 months seems to be what will fit the best since she just got some from walmart the other day that were 6 months and they are JUST fitting me...so bigger is better :)
