To start there were LARGE cookies to be eaten :)

I did NOT like the hair washing part so much however.

Potty Training

So shortly after the new year and some before we started on the journey of potty training our wee one. It's been a struggle. The first week she did awesome. Barely any messes, and it seemed like it was going to be an easy time of it. The following week she wanted to use the big potty so we set her up with little stairs, etc. She even pooped in the potty like two days after starting the training process. Then things started getting messy. Accidents were happening with more and more frequency. Which frustrated us and in turn Emilie as well.

After yesterday her screaming everytime we took her into the bathroom and absolute refusal to go in the potty I realized we must be doing something wrong. When they say to PRAISE your kids when they use it and NOT to scold they mean it! We were getting annoyed with the amount of accidents she was having. When you ask them if they have to go and then literally two minutes later you have a puddle on the floor it's frustrating! So we did raise our voices and scold and I'm afraid it out weighed the praise. SO today I set the little potty back up because even though she doesn't want to use the potty she doesn't want a diaper either.

I'm trying to remind myself with every little mess to just clean it, and move on to the praise part. Which is a struggle, but we WILL get through this, lol.

Daddy is away....so....

Mommy and I had a movie night were I stayed up really late and we watched movies on the fold out bed! But mommy also broke the fold out bed to it was our last :\ Atleast on the bed ;) 

Oh and while daddy was away with uncle tom we always painted the kitchen!

Christmas Morning

After we convinced her to unwrap the stalkings we moved on to the presents under the tree :)






Then like every present she unwrapped she had to go do something with it first :) lol...this one the baby needed to leave apparently...kind of convenient though since she brought it to her room :)



More unwrapping...but did have her do some tag reading first...check out the next video :)

So the first one she grabbed I showed her it said EM and that meant it for Emilie. She looks mighty impressive in this video like she's reading it...but then...

Would love to claim she could read them...but the rest of the morning went the same...EVERY tag read EM...lol :)

She unwrapped dress up clothes...so she had to try on the shoes :) Then walk on the kitchen floor with them. I think I have a girly girl in the works...which means I'm in trouble!


Here's the baby gear she got :) She loves it! It was pretty much the toy of choice most of the day. First we fed the baby, then walked the baby, then the baby napped, etc :)
